We took a little trip to Yosemite last month (first time there!) and during the two night stay I managed to shoot 5 rolls on my Pentax 67. Tried not to post them all… alas, this post came out huge.
It was neither raining nor snowing, yet, she insisted on the Hello Kitty umbrella.
Snowballs at mommy for trying to take photos.
Snowballs at daddy too.
We ice skated alongside the river.
Unfortunately, Hello Kitty was not left behind…
Grumpy because mommy is still bothering him with the camera. And because his gloves are too big (that’s another story, from another snow trip. to Tahoe.)
The views did not disappoint. It was sprinkling when I took this one, en route to Hetchy Hetch.
Before we packed and checked out, I took a couple of portraits with the soft window light. First born refused to be documented.
We watched the deer for a while.
And then Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias.
And I mean GIANT.
Nature + nurture?
In awe of the giants and the amazing sounds.
Family portrait minus one.
The rock collectors. Their pockets were full, about one time their respective weights.
They hid in this “little house”.
The tree tunnel? Loads of fun.
