where there is water…

there will be a wet alice. i have to remind myself to bring extra clothes everywhere, even when i don’t think she’ll need a change, because you never know, she might decide to bathe in a puddle or shower with a glass of water.

portraits on Mare Island

As I go through all the film I have shot, I realize that scanning negatives is more of a bitch than I initially thought. And I will probably try ordering scans from the lab with the next batch of rolls I mail out. Seriously, there just isn’t any time for me to sit here and figure it out, scanning one roll at a time. With that said, here a few more, very inconsistent (color wise), scans. Shot with Rolleicord f/3.5 on Kodak Portra 160. It wasn’t the best speed for that particular outdoor space, especially with kids involved, but it was all I had at that moment since I was just testing out my first couple of rolls with the vintage camera that had been sitting for over 20 years. If I could go back, I would use the Kodak 400 instead. Water under the bridge.
