Hasselblad 500C/M | Kodak Portra 400
We took a little trip to Yosemite last month (first time there!) and during the two night stay I managed to shoot 5 rolls on my Pentax 67. Tried not to post them all… alas, this post came out huge.
It was neither raining nor snowing, yet, she insisted on the Hello Kitty umbrella.
Snowballs at mommy for trying to take photos.
Snowballs at daddy too.
We ice skated alongside the river.
Before we packed and checked out, I took a couple of portraits with the soft window light. First born refused to be documented.
We watched the deer for a while.
And then Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias.
And I mean GIANT.
The tree tunnel? Loads of fun.
it’s been almost a year since i found this tree. its wind blown shape is so gracious. i’m looking forward to documenting some fall colors but that will take a while. unlike elsewhere, we don’t get to see reds (if any) until the end of november. i know this tree turns red because that’s how it was when i first photographed it. check out #thatsltree on instagram.mamiya nc1000s | fuji superia xtra 400
